Open Source Breeding allows you, the grower and patient, access to affordable genetics from breeders and organizations who believe in sharing for the benefit of the plant and others. Our focus is to have cultivars specializing in CBD, CBG, THCV, and other unique cannabinoids. We want everyone to enjoy the benefits of a medicinal garden.

How Does It Work?

Think of it as an Etsy for cannabis, but without an integrated payment system. Breeders can list their cultivars or strains, and you, the grower/patient, have the opportunity to connect with them and make a purchase. It is up to both parties to determine a payment method, as well as shipping details.

Open Source Breeding will monitor any fraudulent activity that is reported, which will result in members and/or vendors being banned from the site. Our goal is to build a trusted network of breeders, offering affordable medicinal-leaning cultivars.
